What Do You Mean by “Modern-Day Mystic”?

A mystic trusts direct experience over secondhand belief. Rather than following doctrine, mystics come to know the truth for themselves — by quieting the ego and opening to a deep sense of connection with all of life. What they find is felt more than explained; the word mystic shares its root with mystery.

The experience itself remains a mystery. But the path to it is practical — and that’s what makes it modern. You don’t need a monastery, a guru, or a belief system. A mystical way of living is a skill, and like any skill, it can be learned. That’s what I teach.

Where is Your Office Located?

My office is located at 1331 N. Sycamore Ave. in Hollywood, California, one block East of La Brea Avenue and half a block North of Fountain Avenue.

What are Your Hours?

I see clients Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday mornings from 7:30am to 12:30pm.

How Long are Sessions?

Sessions are a full hour long. A 50-minute hour can leave the most pivotal discoveries “on the table.” The last 10 minutes of a session oftentime provide the most revealing and important moments.

How Much Do You Charge?

Sessions are $250 an hour. Clients have the option of block-booking sessions by the month, in which case the fee is $200 an hour or less. In some cases, depending on need and circumstance, a sliding scale will be considered.

Do You Take Insurance?

I do not take insurance. The protocols I use are beyond the scope of most providers. And, frankly speaking, I don’t believe insurance companies have kept up with the cost of providing quality care.

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

Sessions are typically booked a week in advance; therefore any cancelled session becomes difficult to re-book within a shorter time frame. That said, if you need to cancel, I would honor your request if it were 48 hours or more before your session time. If it is within 48 hours of your session time I’ll ask that you reschedule your session sometime the same week or pay for the cancelled session.
